ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR PRODUCT FASHION GRAPHICS
The International Design Awards and European Product Design Awards jointly launched the Covid-19 Design Innovation Grant in an effort to support the global effort to find solutions in tackling some of the crucial issues and problems relating to the global Coronavirus pandemic.
Architects and Interior designers were invited to present a simple, practical, innovative solution for an in-home isolation pod that would allow those with COVID-19 symptoms and others to safely co-habit without transmitting the virus.
Product designers were invited to design ventilators or other life-saving equipment that can be affordably produced and distributed.
Graphic designers and illustrators were invited to submit their designs for a resource to help the public protect themselves, prevent spreading the virus to others, or deal with the psychological effects of isolation.
Fashion designers were invited to create fashionable and reusable masks or protective gear to help stop the spread of the virus.

The Official Winner’s Award Ceremony and Cocktail Reception of the 11th & 12th International Design Awards took place at the prestigious “Pacific Design Center” in Los Angeles on Thursday 25th of April, 2019.
Over 300 IDA winners joined the evening, receiving their winning certificates while IDA “Design of the Year” Winner’s works have been projected on stage.
Attendees had the opportunity to meet IDA Winners, members of the Jury, ceremony presenter, industry leaders, press representatives and members of the International Design Awards organizing team.
